I recently deleted the sound tube on my 2019 Camaro SS, and it made a wonderful improvement in sound. Specifically, the engine sounds more refined and the exhaust note is more perceivable. GM should delete the sound tube on all V8-powered Camaros, IMO.

My 2020 2SS came with the sound tube deleted from the factory! Had a plug on the intake and the firewall...

It appears that GM does not install the sound tube on 2SS trims. I don't know why, though . . .

That might vary by year. I have a 2016 2SS and I deleted the sound tube.

Yes---I should have clarified that it appears GM is not installing the sound tube on 2020 model year Camaros outfitted in 2SS trim.

How can intake air go into the cabin? The intake is in a constant vacuum while running and equalized when not. I'd be more worried about unfiltered air entering from the cabin after the MAF....
