Thanks.
That kit is $100! If you google tire repair kits there are several available for around $40-50 online. They may not fit in the styrofoam holder but it's half the price

The only true winter tire avaliable in 2753520 is below cost for my store is 300 bucks retail price will be at least 330-350 plus mount and balance. A lot for a tire you would use for maybe 1 or two months. When you can buy and use a max performance all season for at least 6 months a year. My cost on the dws06 is 210 a tire. That's my plan for the fall is to get a set and use from October to April. I will never buy another pirelli after my gen5 experience with the pzero

Pirelli Winter Sottozero Series 2 is also available on Tirerack at $428/tire..... was able to find those Pirelli Winter Carving Edge on Discount Tire at $337/tire. Friend of mine has those on his Focus for the past 5-6 seasons, they are getting pretty loud/noisy at the end of their life. The Sottozero would really be the better option, if you want to consider winter tires. They will outperform any "all-season" tire under 40-ish degrees, especially if it's rainy out as well.

This is a powerful RWD sports car. Hampering it by putting on all season tires is just sad.

This is what I'm going to do. Run the Winter Sottozero December through March. I also bought a second set of OEM rims so I don't have to risk mounting and remounting damage. It's a big expense up front but allows best performance for both seasons and my tires last a long, long time. Summer rims also stay perfect.

Really is the best way to go, having a second set of wheels. More expensive up fro, but cheaper in the long run. Don't have to have the tires dismounted/mounted and balanced twice a year at roughly $100 at a time. Just swap em out, if you don't do it yourself, it's usually the same charge as a tire rotation for a shop. Then as you stated, your summer wheels stay nice and clean, outta the salt if your area uses it. Far less chance of tire bead leaks in the future due to rim corrosion.

It is summer in Pennsylvania and this past weekend it was in the 70s in the morning and I had the heated seats on. They are great for my lower back.
