How to prevent AFM valves CEL

I have a A10 2SS and I am planning to get rid of stock exhaust and secondary cats. As far I know borla 60610 and SW have AFM valves but I don't want to spend that much dough. I already have a range disabler so I don't use afm anymore and unfortunately I can't tune it out because of warranty.

I read about EFI tuning afm valve delete module but their website isn't working. Is there any another possible solution? Can I just remove those actuators from stock exhaust without cutting and zip tie them under the car? Would it be wonky?

If you remove them it throws the code, you either have to tune them out or zip tie them under the car.

This is what others have done.

Kind of too bad that someone hasn't come up with some kind of device to go on the connectors to "fake out" the AFM valve signals. Then you don't have those valves getting all gunked up and kicking around the undercarriage.

If you shut them off with HP Tuners, then you don’t need the valves at all..

Supposedly EFI tuning made a module for that purpose but looks like they disappeared. Website doesn't work, last post was in 2017.

My car is my daily driver so my concern is how they are gonna hold up being exposed like that. Also is there actually any appropriate room around the undercarriage to mount/zip tie them?

Wrap them in plastic and then zip tie them.

That's my plan...gonna shrink wrap them with some hi heat installation ..then use heavy duty reusable zip ties.

You can zip time them away. Stainless works has a really good solution where it just mounts it to nothing and there's no valves inside the X-pipe. Probably the cleanest solution asides from actual AFM exhausts.

I guess I will be going Plastic bag and zip ties route.

What about NPP harness/connection? Wrap them with electrical tape and zip tie them away?

I tried to pulled the AFM fuse after plugging in the range device, but is till got a CEL prob cause of the fuse. I’m okay with buying the range device but I don’t like to keep the actuators plugged in and zip tied underneath the car. Any solutions?
