Personally and from a selfish standpoint, I hope they don't boost the '22 that much since my '21 ZL1 is supposed to be delivered next Friday!

What if it’s +16 hp and the ZL1 is now 666 hp? Will Chevy rate it at 665?

I have been delaying my 6th gen purchase thinking Chevy might put some upgrades into the final year of production of the 6th gen when that end was 2024. Maybe the new Z06 engine..?? Now that the 6th gen production has been extended to I think 2027, I'm going to order a 2022 so I'll take just about any kind of ZLE spec upgrade. Now if I could just see a few different colored ZLE's before I decide. Not sure about Rapid Blue though.....
Got an autocross ride along last Sunday at an SCCA event in a 2021 ZLE. The word that came to mind is "violent." Amazing grip, power and G forces in a parking lot full of cones. Told the driver he could charge for rides!! Badass Camaro.

Update: Donlen still says 2022 Initial Order Acceptance will be 4/8/21, and 2022 Production Startup will be 6/14 /21. They have been highly reliable in the past, but after what's happened during the last year, who knows what's real?
Opinion: The Camaro will not get the Cadillac update for 2022, if ever. The costs of engineering and meeting federal standards will be too high for a vehicle that's bringing in 30,000 sales a year. Plus, the current engineering is full amortized by now, and it works (well, mostly). I was going to order a last-year Camaro, but since the end-of-production date keeps changing and who knows which parts Chevy will just stop using, my 2022 ZL-1 will be Rapid Blue. |

Just saw that the colors Crush and Shock will be eliminated for 2022. Their replacements are Rapid Blue and Vivid Orange Metallic. Based off of this I think I will be going with the new Orange. Doesn't really sound like the 2022's will be getting any kind of a power bump unfortunately....

The Camaro in it's current form is being phased out (is 2027 official?), doubt they will put another dime into it
