You say the wheels are factory ZL1 OEMs but is the tire size the OEM size or are they larger???

I am having the same feeling! The wear is almost identical on both tires.

@op this is 100 percent alignment related. Stock tire sizes don't rub and that tire doesn't have any seperations from what I can see.

I visited the tire shop today and changed both rear tires. They did alignment for all wheels, the rear ones had negative camber & (toe in) issues. Its a completely different car now! the grip and handling are awesome.

My rears wore the same way as this. Does anyone have the Factory Alignment specs or somewhere to find them? Is this just a result of the car having a default "Track" Alignment from factory?

This is more common then people think. Your right you should always get the car up to get a good look.

Unfortunately the rear toe gets knocked out really (really) easy on these cars with the eccentric bolt design in the rear. I can hold rear toe settings on the street, but one track day knocks it way out. Toe being out in the rear makes the car wander around, especially under power and really does a lot more tire wear than the camber these cars can achieve stock. That rear tire wear was most likely rear toe settings being off (in or out) which constantly scrubs the inner tread block while driving straight, and even worse when running track camber settings.

Thats toe out.

Obviously have the car re-aligned when you get new tires installed. Id be interested in your current rear camber and toe settings..Hitting a pothole or curbing on track etc..will make them move as well.

And some people on this forum mock me for getting my car aligned frequently.

Alignment checks are free at my shop, then it's 80-100 IIRC.

I expect as part of my next car deal I'll insist on a check and alignment if needed, on delivery.
