New ZLE Owner

Hi everyone.
I was finally able to get my hands on a new one of these which is not very easy north of the boarder. Moving up from an SS 1LE so looking forward to the extra hp.
Nice site, lots of good information on here.

Why are these cars so hard to get in canada? Are there some type of import restrictions? And if so why?

Not real sure why us Canucks can’t get them easily.
I do know this. They are rare up here. Mind you I think they are rare everywhere.

GM only brings in something like 275 ZL1's into the Great White North.
Discount the crap out of them in the US of A and charge full pop here. Some of my fellow Canucks got a few grand off but are the exception.
So no import restrictions just limited mindsets.
