Never that much rear gear with a automatic trans from Ford , especially not from GM. Just think what a 3.73 gear A10 ZL1 would do in the 1/4 mile, 0-60, 0-100. The DCT with a good short 1st gear ratio, and 3.73 rear gears, than lightning fast shifts with no power interruption equals a very quick car from a dead start. Look at how the A10 improved the Mustang GT with the addition of the 3.15 gear and many with 3.55 gear. What does Camaro have with there A10, a terrible 2.77 rear. Rear gear is everything if you want max acceleration from a dead stop.

Last week, my local Ford dealership got their first GT500 allocation. Since I had bought or leased more vehicles there since anyone else since 2011 (10, I believe), I was #1 on the list. They offered it at $8,500 over MSRP. I turned it down, as paying $90K (once optioned with a few things) for a GT500 (*without* being able to get the Carbon Fiber Track Pack even if I wanted it) wasn't something that appealed to me, especially when I can get a '19 ZL1 for $61K with GM employee pricing (I can get AZ Plan and GM Employee pricing). On the fence right now on that '19.

They 'sold' (the ability to order) the GT500 to the next guy on the list ... for $10K over MSRP.

Good job. Same happened to me this weekend. They can stick it up their asses or sell it to a YouTuber. No one gives me free money so I’m not giving you free money. Plenty of other options out there.
