Anyone else have their CE held for quality control?
Mine has been sitting for quality control since the first week of September...is that normal?

Mine has been accepted by GM in Irvine, CA before the Convertible was, wondering when mine will be produced. I have an order number but no produced VIN yet so I might need to follow up with my dealer to see where it's at. CTRN8X - A10 Coupe - Already signed for a $10K Markup couldn't negotiate lower.

So I've been playing with searching VINs and found a VIN that has the CE package and is between #092 and #098. when sorted by the last 6 of the VIN.

Would this mean we theoretically know #093 - #097 by just assigning them the numbers in ascending order? I'm sure whenever you get your car Wildcat we could get confirmation.

I guess until then, you have a high chance of getting #094

Gonna start on finding the missing numbers between 001 and 008 now

That was excellent work on those first ones. I figured out the check digit and bounced between auto and manual and they popped up. The hard part is figuring out the last 4 digits. I was going to create a excel script that auto calculated the check digit for all 4 possible combinations of all the missing VIN's and then checked them against the database of stickers.



118 & 119 are on the list as #118 popped up the Chevy site today.

Beautiful! I made a Python script to do every check digit for all four combos as well, it’s taking a while because I’m not exactly sure what is considered bad practice on how many API calls I should be doing so it’s at 1 vin every 5 seconds currently

Edit: the longer it goes the more I’m thinking I may have it wrong. Maybe I have #003-#007 and #002 is somewhere between the 3k sequence D:

The site is super slow/buggy and it is timing out on list updates. Luckily I had it all copied on to a notepad document and I could past it back over. I'll need to fix the #'s in red and bold text when it's working better, maybe in the morning.

I skipped the inventory site after trying it for hours of just loading, moved to open PDFs, and now just doing API requests for the PDF and if it shows JSON content it means there is no window sticker for the vin.

Here's a fun fact, #001 is sequence number 100021, and vin 100022 is a ZL1 1LE

I got so excited thinking #002 was a direct sequence but guess I'll hopefully find out in the morning if my script doesn't crash :(

Notice the dealer on that Zl1 1LE? "GENERAL MOTORS LLC" Same as #1 ZL1 CE. I wonder if they are going to have 2 examples in the heritage centre or if they made it for someone special as a gift?

I think they're all cars that they wanted to use for showcase or similar reasons. I know Al O got his CE but he didn't post which # his was, he was probably on the top list for gifting if anything.

That said, here's 100023 - another direct sequence ZL1 delivered to GENERAL MOTORS LLC what seems to be a plain ZL1 with some add-ons. There are no other sequential ZL1s after 100023 or at least up until 100030. I'm now going backward from 103527 (#003) in hopes it's closer to that than #001

The one in Melbourne, FL arrived this week and has already been delivered to customer. Sales guy said it was #082, but thats not 100% because he didnt see it in person before customer left with it.
