I wonder if the fuel line will fit under it? since its built backwards the hp fuel pump is closest to the snout. In the video it kinda looks like both spots are cut out

From the picture it looks like the cutout is on both sides. It’s reversible. If that’s true, they hooked us up.

Msd is 178mm btw

Makes you wonder if MSD had a camaro version of their manifold, possibly more room to configure, more power? Assuming the vette c7 is the baseline for under good packaging.

This. It seems that the plenum area likely affects the efficiency of flow into the runners, but also, I'd imagine, a larger plenum volume would strengthen the resonance tuning.

The LT2 has the same size TB as the LT1 (and LT4)...

I'm really curious to see the LT2 intake manifold up close. At Woodward this past summer, where GM had a C8 display with the engine, it was way too busy for me to get in the C8 tech display and look at the intake (and engine). They also had a regulated line into the booth... We'll see at maybe PRI...

So, a little more picture viewing and I think this is 100% correct - there is some space there. The PCV system was moved around a bit with the LT2:

I bet you can order it today from you local chevy dealer, I thought the c8 were shipping so that means the intake is in production (unless it is from China).

just to be sure it would be nice if somebody is already working on their ride and the intake is off to see if it does indeed blot on 180 off It should because of symmetrical heads / ports but one never knows till it is done.

I spoke with a Chevy performance engineer, it will spin 180* the issue is the fuel pump is to close and a spacer is required. Once the spacer is installed, now you have a clearance issue with the hood.

How many have experimented with the L86 manifold? That's the route to go it seems. Bolt on and E85 L86's are making great torque numbers

We have to loosen the cradle bolts and lower the engine a bit to slide the intake over the fuel line to get the l86 on. I’m almost positive it will fit once it gets over that line but no ones tried.

LT1 intake area near HPFP vs some LT2 pictures for reference:
(I wonder what size spacer is seen needed?)
