No big deal though!
Sounds good...thanks for the info!

Go for it Snowwolfe! That’s the only real mod planned for my ZL1 and the money spent is well worth it in my opinion.

I don’t doubt it. Installed one on my SS sedan and loved it. Maybe in a month or two. For some reason wife thinks her dental implant has priority, lol.

This & a Soler TB are my planned mods for this winter. Torn on the oiled vs dry filter however.

Add: I like to do a CC, leaning towards a E2. I’m trying to come up with an alternative fitting than the brass one that I see people have to grind a portion off for clearance.

I just installed mine over the weekend. The elbow gave me a little trouble getting the hose over the TB inlet, but other than that it was super easy. I can’t really tell any difference power wise, but it looks & sounds so much better!

I will have a used Rotofab intake for sale in one week. My car is at the shop having numerous upgrades but I'm upgrading to the Big Gulp intake. Been on the car for less than 1K miles. If interested, message me. Unit still looks brand new of course and will ship in the original Rotofab box.

So check this out...I just went to the Roto-Fab website to see about ordering my intake and it turns out that they are located right here in my state about an hour from my house. So I might just go pick it up from them and discuss the install while there...very cool

Yes they are located in Arizona and I guess they would install it for you for a fee. I would do it myself if I were you because it’s not difficult but if you decide not to I understand.

My ZL1 seemed to pick up a slight hp increase and the throttle response is much better too. And of course the s/c whine is much louder now especially accelerating thru the gears!

Oh no...I meant ask them about the install (show me any details the instructions may be missing) but I would most likely go home and install myself. This way if I had any issues I would know what I did.

And not that your advice hasn't been great (appreciate it very much) but seeing they are close to me why not get direction directly from who builds the darn thing...LOL

Maybe with warmer roads I’d be able to tell a difference in the throttle response, but it spins pretty much anytime I get on it with the cooler temps lol. The whine alone was worth the cost IMO so any extra power is just a bonus.
