Easter Egg

Polished with Car Pro Essence. Love this product. And from now on, Car Pro ECHo2 Water-less Wash.

First time venturing into the world of polishing paint. I had always kept my cars clean and waxed before, but never had messed with paint correcting, polishing, and sealants. With the purchase of this car it was time to step up my detailing game, to the next level.

Tools and products used:
Flex 3401
I used various pads, but found the best result was with a Griots Garage microfiber cutting pad and finishing pad, coupled with Chemical Guys V36 Cutting Compound, and V38 Finishing Compound.

For protection, first the entire car was covered with Xpel Ultimate film. I realized I would sacrificed some gloss with the film, but I was willing to have that for the added protection factor.

I'm still experimenting on my sealants, to find what works best for me. For the front bumper I covered with Cquartz UK, followed by Carpro Reload, then covered the front bumper and the rest of the car with: 1st layer Ammo Reflex, 2nd layer Jescar Powerlock Plus, 3rd layer Collinite 845. Then topped the frontal impact areas: bumper, hood, leading edge of front fenders, leading edge of roof, A pillars, and mirrors with Mequiars Gold Class Carnuba paste wax. Wheels are coated with Mckees 37 Nano wheel sealant to start with, I will likely be applying Cquartz UK to the wheels when I can get the time.

I will then do Maintenance washs with Chemical Guys Carbonflex Vitalize wash, then followed up with Carpro Reload. At some point I will venture into waterless washes. But still need to do more research.

1st picture was right after finishing the polishing. 2nd picture is after Xpel and sealants and waxes applied.

Followed Glen's process.I no longer have to kill myself to get my car clean and maintain it. Thanks Glen!

2 bucket wash, nano skin sponge fine with glide, blackfire polish, blackfire crystal sealant, hydro2 on the wheels and I'm done. Granted I'm disabled in a wheelchair and the whole process took me under 2 hours. Wash, dry, decontamination, polish, sealant, and wheels.

Yes, but I'm not the typical 500 lb Walmart scooter rider disabled person. I drive 4x4's, sports cars, take center console boats out on the gulf so I'm what I guess you could call it someone who is motivated.

I use an extension pole with microfiber for the roof where I can't reach. Everything else I just did methodically. I haven't taken this car to anyone. In between thorough washes I use the rinseless wash method as well and it just shines. I just touch up the sealant every so often. Water sheets right off. My buddy does paint correction, ceramic coatings, tint, graphics, detailing, etc. I stopped by his shop and even he said wow you got it looking great. You didn't take it somewhere else did you. I said no I did it in my garage with a system this cool guy Glen told me about.
