I don't honestly trust 3 second 2.0T times posted on Facebook when some trim models use the same gauge cluster. honestly if I ran a 3 sec 0-60 mph i'd do a complete walkaround of my car with the DIC up for 100% clarified truth because a 3 sec. pull in a 2.0T would be insane. I like how one member on youtube Coolest Courier actually does his on video don't know if that's anyone on here hope so.

I can get it to not activate 0 to 60 sometimes I was thinking of adjusting it but mentioning it wasn't a true 0-60 but a 1 to 61 time I think may be the only option for some of us. I think my mods are actually hurting my 0 to 60 because of the extra torque and hp causing really obvious wheel hop.

This was kinda what I thought... So someone 'traveling' 50-55mph with the tires lit up could stop the timer and have it say '60'...

@Evilbee: I don't think my time should be allowed as it was actually 0-57mph... I didn't know how to properly set the timer up last year; this weekend I'll try again and report back.

My timer does not start until I move. I launch from 3000+ rpms many times and timer is not going. Maybe you aren't braking enough?

Mine starts as soon as I touch the gas pedal, even if the car isn't moving. It's almost impossible (for me) to get the rpms up for a good launch to get a good time. I've even tried holding the E brake button up while my foot was on the brake pedal. Timer just starts. It's just a gimmick me to as I can't get accurate info from it if the timer won't start when the car actually begins to move.

I wonder if this is a difference in 16 to 17 model years. My timer will not start until I move.

perhaps? I know 2016 manual trans guys it doesn't start until the car moves. But the Automatic guys seem to have the problem. Might a simple fix like a reflash from the dealer? idk...

Let's hope so, because yeah, that makes the timer pretty much useless for you.

The 2017 manual is the same... Timer doesn't start till the tires start to roll

Ok, looks like the problem is A8 and M6 for 2016. I would think it has to be a software issue.

Wow! What was your launch rpm for a time like that? Did you play with the tire pressure and did you happen to notice the temp?
