Let us make a clarification, our standard configurations of TB's are surge free, as they have always been. They work great, hundred drivers and accounts here and in other places.

The question is; can Soler Performance, or anyone else for that matter, provide a customized throttle body for cars prone to surges?

Please, realize that a few manual LT1 cars surge even w/ the stock TB.

Also, of the few members posting here about surges, some do not have one of our TB's, others do not have any surging but are posting to help others.

Ultimately, if any given car has no issues with the stock TB, we can provide one that performs above it w/o any single issues. It might not be our standard configuration, but you can be sure we can get you one or a full refund. Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction, as difficult as that can be, we strive for that.

I have it. Surge reduced. Slightly there not as bad but its minimum and not an issue. Performance still good. In fact I would say equal to the first Soler or maybe even better. Will continue to test and keep all updated.

Thanks Mike for you very quick response when I brought this up.

I wanted to post a quick update, I'm several hundred miles into the new TB that Mike got to me immediately. Did the full ECU reset and relearn, and with the miles, it seems back to basically where it was before the issue began.

Only time you might notice anything is very light throttle applications in the 2800-3500 range, and just a bit while the engine is cold on cold mornings.
Other than that, happy to report it's very much smoothed out and zero surge.
Checked all drive modes and cruise, working nicely!

I just wanted to post that I have 2200 miles on my TB now on my 2019 ZL1. Besides a Rotofab intake the Soler is all I have on there. Both were added roughly the same time. I have had nothing but smooth sailing with the Soler throttle body, almost instant response like my hellcat and zero surges or drive ability issues. Rowing through my six speed is so much improved, a pure joy. Car is how it should of been set up now from production. Least for a guy who is not heavily modded.
Not sure if the SS guys are the only ones that have experienced some drive issues with the soler but on the Z it is magnificent.
Thee best mod to this car without a doubt.
And the customer service level and replies Mike gives to this forum is just phenomenal. Second to none.
