Paint gouge

My 3 year old toddler knocked my bike over my 2L turbo 2019 Camaro in Riverside Blue leaving a decent-sized paint gouge in the right front bumper. What do you guys think would be the best way to repair this?

1.Buff out the scratch as best as possible with clear coat safe compound.
2. Order kit to repair chip and any scratch left behind.

There are products specifically made to repair gouges etc. in plastic bumpers, but if you’re a beginner, it’s likely you’ll make the repair area larger (filling and sanding).

Another idea: There are companies that specialize in micro blend repairs, maybe there’s one near you?

You can also get a touch up pen from GM / AC Delco. If you're in the US I believe they can be had for like $ 15.

I had a hard time finding someone who would ship mine.

You can do the repair yourself if you don't mind doing some body work.
There are fillers for plastic bumpers that can be sanded and painted.

Of course you'll need some tools to do this correctly or at least for a decent outcome.

If you don't have the tools, rent what you can and purchase the rest.

It may be cheaper to take it to a body shop, but if it happens again, you'll give more money to the body shop.
If you purchase the tools, you'll always have it to use again if need be.

Who knows, you may make a business doing this!
Go to a body shop and pick up their scraped body parts to practice on.

I did a search and found some products, so I may just do this to my car as well when I have the time.

Here are a few of links to products, but you can probably get plastic fillers from an auto body store like English Color and Supply
