1-3 gear transmission whine 2017 1ss 1le

Hey guys

Just our of curiosity, does anyone else have a noticeable gear whine when accelerating in gears 1-3. Just trying to see if what I have is normal or if the car needs to go to the dealer. Car has 4K miles on it and has not been tracked or otherwise abused.

Thanks

Neither of my TR6060’s had/have this issue. I will say, my 1LE’s trans was a bit noisy, in a different manner, and it turned out the fluid was 0.5 qt low. Noisy in that there was a lot of gear backlash and gear clatter noise. No whine.

in case anyone was interested, my local dealer heard the whine and is pulling the trans out as a result.

What happened to be the outcome of this?

I recently noticed a high pitch whine when driving slowly into the underground parking. 1st and 2nd gear engaged, I can hear a low volume whine (you must listen carefully to be able to hear it).
Pressing the clutch pedal and the whine is gone! Engaging into gear again = whine comes back.
Any ideas? Can this be a common sound when gear is engaged?
