Differential Fill Plug ?

I want to change the rear end fluid in my car. Is the plug circled in blue in the picture the fill plug? It's on the top on the passenger side. I want to be sure before I start wrenching on it. I took the picture when I was under the car nosing around.

Thanks

IIRC when I changed mine, the drain and fill plug both use the ⅜" ratchet to take off. That does not look like the fill plug.

I agree, the fill plug should NOT be on top (the differential isn't "full" of fluid)... The proper way is to drain, then replace the drain plug and then pump fluid into the fill port until is just starts to overflow and then cap it (the fill port is only about 1/3 of the way up the diff)...

that is a vent!! Fill plug is easily visible on the side of the rear. Takes a 3/8" ratchet extension.
