Help
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I was helping my friend jump start his car and then the clamp accidentally slipped and hit & scratched it up.

That's probably a re-paint if you want it perfect.
You can try Dr. Colorchip. It's a great product. Wash, clay, polish and then try to fill what's left with Dr. Colorchip. http://www.autogeek.net/dr-colorchip...eegee-kit.html

Can you put your fingernail in it? if so no easy fix, if it on the surface you should be able to compound out, may take a while....hard to tell 100% from the picture, but it looks like it is not just on the surface.

If your fingernail doesnt catch in the scratch, you should be able to polish it out. The pic looks pretty deep.

So you should be able to polish out the part that doesnt catch and then use Dr. Colorchip for the rest. You'll be fine.

Using a good compund like Mequiars 105 and a good cutting pad with a good DA Polisher. May take some time but you should be able to get it a lot better than what it is now.
