LME has the fix for that. I haven't called them but was told by someone else they have a full bearing for it.
Why did TSP step up when the heads were leaking and not their heads. Maybe I'm reading it wrong.

PRC is the name of TSP's head lineup. The heads were bought from them brand new. They asked my shop to pull the heads and send them to their shop and that's where they conducted their test and found out that it was their heads that were leaking.

Its all good man. Pray never got the chance to work on the heads. I was using him as my tuner and was out doing fbo logs for him when the oil pump decided to let go.

800 whp should be plenty for a street strip car. Should also last a good long time. I’m shooting for 720-750whp in my next set up. I think that should a happy place between speed and reliability.

Just an update, Carlyle racing should have the short block finished Tuesday and hopefully shipped by Thursday. I did forget to mention it does have a BTR Cam and Lifters, Katech front cover, dod delete, new oil pump, chain, tensioner. Just needs my heads (still not sure what I'm doing on those yet), pan, etc and back in the car. So hopefully all that will happen by the end of January. I may just end up doing just BTR .660 springs, seals and call it a day. The ported heads will obviously make some more power but really don't need anymore then my drag radials can handle. I still need a low side DSX if I want to switch over and run a little E corn this year to save some cost on race fuel.

Are you sticking with the BTR cam or swapping in your Livernois?

Not touching it, staying with the BTR. I'm actually not changing anything. Heads, pan and bam back in the car. Here is the cam that's in it right now. I'm going to order the BTR Platinum .660 springs, I'm going to sell the Livernois cam and lifters, Manley Rods and Pistons. The block may be useable but has to be line bored, I could put it all back together since I have another crank now that needs to have the rod journals turned. But if no one wants to buy the forged pistons and rods, cam I may do that some day. Just wanted to start fresh.

FYI - after having my short block apart, it wouldn't be a big deal to modify the middle main cap to take another one of the shell bearings.
One thing I was a little concerned with when I took mine apart, it I had .011" of thrust play before I took it apart. It should be .002 - .0075" After new Clevite's it is .004"

Supposedly LME has the full bearing for the thrust.
