Finally got some time to go over the paint and get it cleaned up.

Pulled the bowtie off the grill too, kept sliding around on me every time I washed it so off it came. About the pull the SS off the bumper as it keeps catching the towels drying it off.

Gorgeous car 1LEThumper. I really like the looks of the 1LE's but just don't think it would be a good DD here in NW Ohio as far as replacing the wheels in the colder months and no remote start with the manual, ect.

I was going to go look at an automatic Rally Green 2SS today that has almost perfect options such as ceramic interior and knee pads, NAV, NPP, red calipers, 5-split spoke gray wheels and the body-side spear stripes really set it off. But its over 6 hours away. I also found one much closer (1.5 hours) but not optioned perfectly. It has the more expensive polished wheels with the black star cap, white rally stripes, sport alloy pedals, NPP, LPO battery protector and Camaro fender badges. They also have a garnet with black stripes (which was my original 1st choice in color), but hardly any options on it. I'm thinking of going there and if I love it fine, but if if I think I may like the other one thats further away better, maybe they could do a trade or something as they are both priced pretty close?

Texas it isn’t so bad, worse thing we have to deal with is ice because of all of the Bridges and over passes. Now that being said, I grew up in Indiana so I’m pretty much used to it and my first car ever was a 85 IROC that I drove year round, followed up by a 94 1LE that didn’t have remote start, power windows, or even A/C and I drove it most winters, but finally retired it to summer only duty when I put the race tires on it and started doing a lot of modifications to it. I’m more scared of the other idiots on the road than anything else.

What did you order apexit? Also what kind of discount can you expect if you order? I'm guessing not as good as you can get if you get one off the lot.

I ordered a 1SS 1LE with black interior package and red seat belts.

No PDR as I can run data in my car with a better camera.

I work for a dealership family that has a chevy dealership in it so I got a decent discount on it. maybe 4-5ish grand off. also depends on what incentives are available when it comes in. won't be till about march or April

Thanks! Its crazy how much it changes from shade to full sun. At times it looks almost black.
