If your goal is 100-125 RWHP then no need to change the blower as you need these supporting mods before you do a larger blower.

This package is what I recommend you do before a blower upgrade no point putting more boost in when there is so much restriction in the current set up.

This package is what I run on my Personal ZL-1 and ZLE

Hey Ted,

Just curious, why a 180 thermostat vs a 160?

180 is the minimum Temp I would run any aluminum ls or lt engine.

The myth is lower thermostats make you run cooler but all they do is help the engine up to a minimum temperature.

The Fans and Radiator are responsible for top temp.

Finally, hearing it from an experienced tuner.

Interesting package...I like everything except for the flex fuel part of it but I assume that is to run E85.
What if I did the same package without the flex fuel but ran 100 octane fuel (available to me at the pump)...what kind of WHP numbers would I expect to see?
BTW the pump gas where I live is crappy 91.

There is nothing but positive about having a Flex fuel sensor on board even it you don't run E-85 fuels

Instead of assuming an E content %

Most fuels have Ethanol levels that vary some so if the ECM can see actual E content it will always run absolutely perfect.

100 Octane fuel makes 640 RWHP easy

Tedd,

What would be the downside of running this on a 2021 ZLE since the A10 is running the bosh module and is not able to be unlocked yet...or ever?

Hopefully someone will unlock it. I have never been a fan of tuning without also tackling the TCM portion.

Be advised that when he says 100 octane, he means PON of 100 which is (Research Octane Number + Motor Octane Number) divided by 2, what we use here in the USA. I know that in some European countries they use RON instead, which is a higher number for the same fuel, example, 98 RON is probably not any better than 93 PON. So make sure that you compare apples to apples if using an octane recommendation from the USA in a different country.

Teds right on the 180 and thats what I ended up with on my Camaro. Ran the 160 Mishimoto and it failed twice. These motors really need to come up to temp to make power and if they don't you can see some failures when you start hammering it too early. I had some issues on my Vette trying to run the 160 with the billet housing even though I made all the changes in the HP Tuners files especially with the AC, seemed like when running down the road with the AC on it set something off in the tune and the AC would go off and the fans would run on high until I reflashed it so I went back to the 194 TS. No issues since and I'll probably try the 180 next year. Maybe I missed something in the tune when I made the changes but I just didn't want to mess with it anymore.
