Were they able to tune the A10 transmission ?

I thought the 2020 and newer ZL1 could not have the trans tuned ?

No trans tunes for the 2020+, they told me it really only becomes a hinderance on really high HP builds where you need to adjust shift points. If you use a large cam where it makes power well above the stock redline, then you won't get the full benefit of a larger cam, but they did state that the torque limit can be overcome where the trans typically freaks out above 1000hp and starts closing the TB to keep the torque at a specific value. The ECM can be programmed to trick the trans into thinking its making less torque than it really is so at least that part can be overcome.

For people that aren't out to set records for the worlds quickest ZL1, the lack of trans tune won't affect most people. It makes sense that if you're going to select a cam for a 2020+ ZL1, you choose one that makes the most power within the stock redline and shift points.

That being said, Vengeance would always like more control rather than less so they're not thrilled about the situation. You can always install a MOTEC and take full control over everything but that's a pricey option.

Hope to see you out at C&O or some of the other meets one of these days! I'm in Dunwoody.

Yea, so I asked for an offset that was in between stock and flush with the fender. I seem to recall its about 11mm from stock to bring them flush with the fenders so mine are about 5-6mm more offset which gets them closer to the fender but not as tucked as stock. I like that I can always use a 5mm spacer if I really want them at the fender line which is why I chose that offset. I should be able to run a 295 without issues, I just wish I had gone with a 10.5" wheel in case I wanted to run a 305.
