Is this a stretch

Buying 9" and 10.5" wheels and would like to use the tires I have on my car unless it's too much of a stretch. I have 245/40/20 and 285/35/20 tires right now. Has anybody done this and would you have pictures?

285/35/20 falken fk510 looks excellent on a 10.5 They do seem slightly wider than some others. Like the indie runs a little smaller. I think in general that the next size up from recommended is max. I put the 285 on an 11 and its just looks small to me

I just went through this as well. But with firestone firehawk Indy 500. Mine were 275 rear and 245 front. It seemed to stretched for me. I moved the 275 onto the front and put a set of 305 on the rear. Both seem to fit really good now

Not a stretch at all. 245/40/20 tires typically have a recommended rim width range of 8.0-9.5", and 285/35/20 have a range up to 11". This is straight from the tire manufacturers, so you will be well within their recommendations.

Not a stretch, but won't look as good as a 275/305.
