That's not our area of expertise. The only person that could give info on that would be the site owner. Even we are at a loss as to why it's down at times.

If you don't mind me throwing out a suggestion...

Why don't you make the 'Today's posts' link under 'Quick Links' its own link on the main Forum header as an 'Ongoing Conversations' or 'What's New' link for people who like to keep up to date with the conversations happening in real time.

That way, it doesn't matter that the thread isn't in General Discussions, if its popular, people who are concerned with that kind of thing can keep up easily.
