I was able to drive the car some today. It ran great. No cel. Must have just needed to settle in and get some wot. Might be just my ears playing tricks on me, but it definitely sounds louder and throatier. Im headers no cats and stock npp with rotofab and sheetmetal intake.

I will update this post with our results soon.

Nevertheless, we made a video of the install, if anyone wants to check it out.

I managed to port the stock intake to receive a 103mm TB.

I did notice a smoother quicker response with the pedal and a louder acceleration sound like another member said.

On my head's cam,MSD I gained about 8hp, ironically the 103 gained the same amount so I stayed with the 95. Pray himself did the testing with my car.

My ported 95mm made 1/1rw more than the 103 in my testing back to back. Probably 10 minutes between the runs. I did three passes with each.

The problem with either on the stock IM is that there is still a restriction behind the TB in the actual manifold. You can only get that portion to around 90mm if you get real thin in the throat. But I have three or four cars running the stock ported IM/95mm TB with good results so far.

Would a 103mm go well with the ported MSD? Or will the ported 95mm be just as good with the ported MSD? I know someone above posted numbers for the MSD (not sure if that was the ported version or not). I am wanting to upgrade from my ported 87mm now and wondering which one to go with when I throw the ported MSD on the car with H/C.

My testing was done on a ported MSD.

Thanks. If using the 103mm throttle body, how do you solve the problem with the bigger intake snout? Can you use the existing intake pipe from say a rotofab cold air intake? Or does a new intake pipe need to be fabricated to fit? Just trying to determine what else I would need for a bigger throttle body.

Hello Everyone, so I finally got back on the dyno. unfortunately, my data wont be 100% accurate. Since I also did black heart shorty Headers and few other little things but here are my results.

I have to say, the gains where pretty good, specially for a hot day on the dyno. I did the 95mm t/b (ported it), installed a used set of hooker shorty headers, and a Mishimoto low temp thermostat.

last time on dyno we made 449hp and 446trq. After mods mentioned, we had a base line of 442.55 hp and 449.59 trq. After fine tuning and correcting AFR, we ended up with 456.95hp and 463.75trq.

Very happy with the gains, that's a +8hp and +17Trq, dyno graph shows gains across the rpm range. We will play with different cold air intakes to see if we make a little more. looks like the 95mm t/b is making the elbow on the AFE intake pinch a bit. May be worth some power to change out the elbow.

Pease check out our you tube channel, ''G's Footage", where we show everything we do on our Camaro.

Just get a reducer type silicon adapter type.
