They were allowed last year, and I have not seen anything different. If I am wrong, hopefully someone corrects me. But as of now, in 95 degree heat, I will be in shorts.

What I normally do is wear shorts, but then find pants that I can wear over the shorts, and just slip them on right before I race. Then after take the pants back off.

yeah I got an email this morning about it as well. that sucks, but it is what it is.... so I have a question

1) I am supposed to pick up my tickets/wrist bands etc. this is happening on Thursday night at the main hotel, correct?
2) for the Thursday track day, I just show up at the 8am meeting for the track event, correct? I've read all the events etc. and i'm still a little lost as to what I need to do. Sorry.

Yes.. the Event Tickets for Friday and Sat will be Thurs night at Host Hotel, most likely the Meet and Greet at the convention center.

For Thursday NCM track, they will have bands for you at the track. This will be when you sign the waiver for the track and all. Be there for the Drivers meeting!!

When racing of any kind... ALWAYS have a pair of pants in the trunk just in case.
