Weird specific issue
Hey guys I have a 2016 Camaro SS A8 it is modified:
-Speed engineering long tubes/mid pipe factory NPP muffler -DSX Flex fuel kit -Mishimoto Cold air - Mishimoto oil catch can -dyno tuned for 91/e85 The issue I’m having is while accelerating with about a 1/4 throttle the car will lose power, as if the fuel is being cut, momentarily jerking the car. Feels almost like an aggressive shift. If I am in sport or track mode the car will switch into touring mode, flashes the CEL, and won’t let me switch out of it. Sometimes the car will jerk again and switch back to sport/track mode. The CEL does not stay on. It was quitting and sputtering. Replaced both high pressure and low pressure fuel pumps. This fixed the sputtering and quitting but it still jerks. I do not have the shuddering issue. Dealership couldn’t figure out if it’s electrical or not. Just trying to see what it could be before going to a performance shop I appreciate all the help. |

So why not send some data back to Cordes and have them diagnose/fix it remotely?

UPDATE: so I feel pretty dumb I had a feeling it was the transmission, car hasn’t had triple flush but never had the shudder, was mislead by a dealership when I had asked for the flush they said it was electrical. Took to a performance shop out here and the transmission can’t maintain pressure. More than likely the fluid is causing this. Going to get the flush this weekend. Hopefully this fixes it.
