Loved the looks of the gen 5 but the drive was very disappointing. It just felt old fashioned to me. I drove car #252 in April 2009 and was underwhelmed. I drove 2 ats in 2014 and was extremely impressed. Rode and handled better than my Cts. Apparently this new camaro has got the goods.

There is quite a bit of variation in engine output per engine. Less now than back in the '80s(as a percentage). Some of you may remember the 2 mustang scandals. Fox body 5.0 L rated at 225 hp which after several model years became 205 hp due to the 225 being rated on the high side. And the 4 valve 4.6l SVT rated at 305 hp. Oops.

For those of us that are heavy ADD-affected - were both cars brand new, off the lot? I read that the C7 was but did not see whether the Camaro was also or if it had some miles?
EDIT: Never mind - I saw the post I missed. Both were new with less than 20 miles on both of them.

I do think the C7 gives up horsepower due to the Heavy Duty Gold Chain Buffer and Chest Hair dryer (a dealer installed accessory) so that's why the Camaro had more to the wheels.
