Camaro SS 3"pipe exhaust vs stock exhaust setup

Will a 3" pipe axleback exhaust really give it a deeper tone compared to just cutting out the mufflers and welding stock pipes

This is California. You’re not doing long tube headers to a 3” exhaust pipe. I just did the Magnaflow comp axle back kit and it has a great tone and plenty loud. Done deal.
