But any weather is beer weather.

Did you have any data recording going on? Cuz I saw more boost and a lot better MAF readings..

I cut my box a lot better also had the filter angled to where it scooped up more air and had the maf rotated a bit.

Of course the rotofab I had still used the stock elbow and was on a blower car..also smooth the top of the box that had those vains. Most people will see it as support area.

Can't remember at the time. Car has gone 10.67 since with headers, my ported stock IM/TB, U/D pulley, and seats removed.

Mine is stock except for a green drop in filter. I'm thinking about cutting the bottom out of the Stock box an adding a ported Throttle body this spring. What kind of gains could I expect?

You can tell that even with higher DA and a slower 60ft the RF was just plain faster than a modified stock box with the Green filter. The last test we tried was to run the stock CAI's inlet tube on the RF box. In my mind the taper of the stock tube and the two 60* bends could be a benefit over the RF's non tapered tube with a 120* bend. We did not tuning for the RF tests. We just slapped it on and ran. The results of that test were inconclusive in my mind. Here is how it laid out.

What were the times with the stock box and filter?

I dont run a green filter with the bottom cut out , the factory AIRBOX IS FINE. , Id like to see a green filter with a stock box ,

When you cut a stock box you’re loosing the little amount of ram air the factory box has AND now your sucking up hot air from the engine bay .

Drawings conclusions from single run data is not valid way to compare much of anything.

Need more runs, preferably back to back w/o fuzzy correction math.

Difference between three is insignificant. Less than 1% ?

I like fuzzy math. It makes me feel better. Please feel free to keep your stock CAI's. They are leading the way on the top of all the fast lists. Hahahahahahahahahaha.
