There is a 2018 yellow zl1 that's probably really cheap at autonation in Houston they have had it for a year I've seen it every time on the way to Galveston ever since I bought mine.

Why didnt they just say we have a new yellow.. Or did they not even know? It pisses me off when your at a gathering like that for camaros and give bad info.

They may not have finalized the color for production at that point. He's right about low sales though. It's easily the lowest selling color on Camaro. You have to remember that what you see at cfest and here on the forums, is a small portion of what's actually out there and isn't a good representation of the total Camaros on the road.

Here is mine with Starsky & Hutch stripes before purchase and now without 6 days later. I removed the $540 stripes when the tint was getting done.
1050 mile drive home from dealer and couldn't be happier.

Mine sat on the dealer's lot for 18 months and was the oldest '18 they had. So of course it had a dead battery and 4 flat-spotted tires. So I have a new battery and 4 new run-flats. Look at the difference in color taken with the same new iPhone. Photo above with stripes and windshield stickers was before they prepped it after sitting for 18 months.

Is it really so expensive to maintain a reasonable color palette? Dodge has a zillion colors to choose from for the Challenger with similar overall sales figures. All the '19 refresh offers in terms of colors is 2 reds, orange, dark blue, white, 3 grays, 2 blacks and that's it...

I agree somewhat.. but I live in Houston drive back and forth everyday. About 1 hour.. I see quite a few yellow maybe they just catch my attention but I can pick out any 5th or 6 gen going down the hwy.. I dont see 1 color over another.

Just go look at the build counts for 2016 and 2017. Yellow is a low selling color. It did outsell Mosaic Black, Garnet Red, Hyper Blue and Krypton Green for 2017 though. Mosaic Black is the color I scratch my head over. Do we really need 2 blacks?

I imagine Mosaic Black is offered on the other cars built at Lansing, if not other GM products, and so its easier to justify its existence vs Bright Yellow, which was only offered on the Camaro.

It might be a low selling color but it commands a $395 premium. I'm very happy with mine after 10 days. I had the rarest color 2017 C7-Sterling Blue,with under 1k across all trims.

I gave the hook up for a free supercharger last year to a GS vette, this is the second I've seen in 2 years.

I almost got a new mosaic blk back in 2017 when dealers were not really discounting much it was a A10 with PDR and carbon. MSRP 67k. I got it down to 56k but it looked dusty or dirty out in the sun w all the flake.
