From what I have read they are even assigned by the manufacturer and is why I wanted to know how they wear against the OEM GY Runflats which wear pretty well as opposed to some performance tires. I only drive a few thousand miles a year so a tire that goes 15K will be about 5 years old and need replacement anyway due to age.

If you get 15k out of the stock run flats, I think you are doing pretty good. I replaced mine at 13k because I was getting concerned with my wife driving in the rain, and they were even getting squirrelly in the dry, too. Had about 2/32” before I hit the wear bars. Not one single burnout. (Unless my wife is roasting them and I don’t know about it.)

Have 295 Nitto on rear no prob. 285 or 295 on the 9.5 wheel is fine but I would go to a 10” for anything wider.

The run flats on my car is near done and it only has 8k on it. I just bought the car so I'm not sure how the last idiot treated her although judging by the tires, I can honestly say they drove it like they stole it.

I have 285 Nitto nt555 G2's on the back and roast the tires from a dig. My 0-60 is suffering. Next year when I get SS 1LE wheels I'm moving up to 305's for sure.

How's the cornering with the RS? I currently daily the AS-05 counterpart which is a wee bit less grippy from a dig, it does a wiggle then takes off, compared to the OEM RFs. But the cornering is fairly worse in comparison. I was thinking of a summer pair to run for spirited driving and some tracking/drags.

I'm VERY happy with my Turanza Serenity Plus tires. Very quiet!

Just put a set on and really like them so far after 100 miles. So much better than the run flats.

Nope I have 8,800 miles on mine and they are almost to the wear bars and the fronts are more worn than the rear. I don't drive that hard. Most miles are short trips before the engine is even warmed up so I do not run it hard cold.I don't race either. Maybe the hot Florida weather wears them faster?

I also just went with Nitto.
Stayed stock on the front and 295 on the rear. No problemo!
