The porting doesn't increase the opening but rather, it removes the middle mass where it bottles down at the butterfly which increases flow.

This could be the best stealth mod when combined with the GM Intake. Ported stock throttle body with the GM certified intake should offer decent gains and be all but invisible.

Here are my LT1 ported TB pics from a different company. I installed this on my C7, but the C7 and gen6 SS share throttle bodies and intake manifolds. You'll notice the stock TB has a large lip that can be massaged for a much smoother transition.

I don't plan to do much performance modding on my SS, but as I said before, this has my interest. This combined with the GM intake (which supposedly comes with a tune?) could provide an extra 20 - 30 HP and TQ over stock....which would be pretty amazing I think.

480ish HP and TQ (more or less) from just a couple very basic mods. Crazy lol

What is price for TB, and what's price if you choose not to ship back your OEM one?
I'd also like the answer to this question. And will it include instructions? Nothing is idiot proof when it comes to me working on cars lol

It is very easy. Remove the intake pipe, remove the electric connector plug (note the red lock which must be pulled out), remove 4 bolts, remove stock TB, and reassemble.

With a tune from GM, that may actually be feasible. Guess we'll see.
