VIN Sequence Number Questions

I visited the ZL1 Registry to see if they could help me determine my ZL1's build sequence number from the VIN. I could not register or find any information on 6th Gen ZL1s so asked questions using the email link. Jason Port replied saying:

Thank you for emailing us. Right now the registry is only for 5th Gens. The 6th Gen Camaro ZL1's are not in sequence like the 5th Gens where. We are planning to add the 2017 ZL1 by the end of 2017. Hope that helps.
I found a camaro6 forum thread pointing to VIN Information where I got the 2017 Model Year - Car breakdown (PDF). My VIN is enumerated below.

The VIN Information in that file isn't very explicit in its description of the "Sequence Number" (last 6 digits).

"Positions 12 through 17 represent the number sequentially assigned by the manufacturer in the production process."

Question: Does anyone know at least if the VIN sequence number pertains to 2017 Camaros (all trims), both 2016 and 2017 Camaros (all trims), all vehicles built at this plant, all vehicles built on this production line?

I know they haven't built 170,832 ZL1s this year. I seriously doubt they've even built that many 6th Gen Camaros (all trims). My guess is that this is the number of camaros of all trims for all model years built this year. That doesn't help me figure out where I stand among ZL1 owners, though.

The sequence number is for all cars produced at the plant. The Camaros and both Cadillac's.

Ahh, okay. Thanks.

So I guess there's no way to tell what build number my ZL1 is among just ZL1s. Someone at the plant must be keeping track of this.

It would have been nice to have a ZL1 specific VIN# like the Gen 5 cars.
