If they did that I would be upset but I can't trade. I'm hoping for a blue for the sixth gen and not for just the first six months. If they do that again Ill miss out on that blue too.

...the scheme as shown may be unappealing, a solid color magenta may be more appealing. Give it time, go see it in person on the lot if it is a possiblility down the road. The norm around here is most hate right out of the gate.

As much as I'm interested in seeing the color on an actual camaro, I know I'm not going to like it because I've seen it on a sonic and already know I don't like the color in general. They really need a good blue. IMO the BRM they have now is too dull (shade, not boring) and in most lights doesn't even look blue. A midnight blue (again IMO) metallic would be better for a dark blue and that aqua blue metallic or bright blue metallic for a light blue would be nice.

Drove almost two hours to see it. My little girls were bummed. We told them there would be a pink Camaro there. Wonder what happened to it? The black Z/28 they had will have to suffice.

I believe that Z-28 is Dusk Blue, unfortunately way to easy to mistake it for black.

Nope. Black. Stood and looked at it. Paint has so many swirls under that light and there is some camera metering going on in the room to make it look that way. I promise you it is black. All day long.

Not a big fan of magenta or red for that matter. But if someone gave it to me, I wouldn't turn it down.

Thanks for clarifying. My mistake, I guess it that bright of lighting the blue would show more. When it was cloudy at C5Fest I had to ask one of the GM guys if the Dusk Blue Camaro was indeed that color.

I think a lot of it was due to the reflection of blue around the car. The walls and lighting in the Chevy area are very blue-oriented. Even the guys shirts reflected in the side are all blue.
