I chipped a small spot of paint removing the rear emblem. That's what I did today.

I was gonna remark how I am on the fence about this. It gets super-ass hot here especially out on track.

Are you gonna race this season? I only do Autocross and will likely do some of the Code Red days.

Guys, you NEVER have to scratch your paint on a badge removal. Soak it for 30 min in 3M adhesive remover or Goo Gone and the badge will almost fall off in your hands. Everybody rushes this project, have patience, irrigate the badge occaisionaly, and wait.

I bought some from Amazon. Hopefully it's enough to keep it from splintering and it holds together. Otherwise I'm looking at a repaint. Was considering the blade spoiler anyway. Would be a good time to do it all at once.

Blade spoiler wont work on a 2ss....at least not now, it won't cover the holes made by the stock spoiler

Thus why if I was having my trunk repainted I would have it filled.

Let me know how much that would cost you... Cheapest quote I got was 1100. All ranging between 1100 and 1600. But I believe that is also because mine is a garnet red "premium color", harder to match. I still won't get it done, I am just curious. My stubbornness will be the death of mine, I will march to Detroit if needed for Chevy to make a freaking blade spoiler for SS.
