First of all I just wanted to say thank you for viewing my car journal but more so for all the help of the members of Camaro5.com Your wisdom and knowledge has been greatly appreciated through my build process and plans for future mods. Performance Mods RPM Motorsports Cam Package (valve springs and pushrods) Kooks 1 7/8" Headers Kooks Catted Connection Pipe MSD LS1 Wire Set MGK TR55 V-Power Spark Plugs Full Street and Dyno Tune Roto Fab CAI Oil Catch Can Appearance Mods Plastidip Front and Rear Bowties Plastidip Wheels Tint 20% Matt Black Fender Hash Marks To start, some people I know think I am crazy. Not like ordinary crazy but super crazy. I have had trucks my whole life. Chevy truck and then one 07 Nissan frontier. So Earlier this year January 2014 I traded in my 07 Nissan for a 2014 1500 Z71. I really liked it and had its purpose. I put a leveling kit from rough country on it and really enjoyed it. But there was just something missing. I really couldn't get a hold of what was eating at me until it hit me when I was riding in my buddy's vette. I NEEDED SPEED. So hear comes the crazy part. I contained the urge to blow my wad and buy a new Camaro for some time until that day. The day in mid June when I took my truck into the Chevy dealership for a recall. Unbenonst to me, they were backed up and it would be a few hours. So I told the sales guy, who we have bought two vehicles now 3 from, just give me a loner and I will come back and pick the truck up once its done. The service department was out of loaners due to the backup issue and they were going to pull a truck off the lot. But something caught my eye. It was the black Camaro SS on the side sitting between two other SS one silver and one red. I couldn't take my eyes off it. I stopped him and told him to get the keys to the camaro. Took it for a test drive. Told him to run some numbers, and I took it home to show the wife. Now the reason people think I am really crazy is, I have a 2 year old. After talking to the wife and having purchased her a 2014 Chevy Traverse, we had a family car. So to me it really wasn't that crazy just couldn't haul anything. Still have her vehicle if it is life or death to bring something big home from home depot etc, with a trailer. So the Camaro has sat a while on the lot and I could tell they were wanting to get rid of it. Sales doubled some promotions and and went home with financing options in hand for the wife and I to review. So it comes out our payment is going to be lowered and able to pay it off sooner. So the only thing left was to convince the wife to let daddy to fulfill his dream. (Real dream is a 1969 SS/RS but isn't everyone's?) Got the go ahead and now proud owner of a 2014 Camaro SS/RS M6. Stock, First day home. That night I joined Camaro5 and start reading. I mean really reading. I have been a longtime lurker to this site as well as others but I just took the plunge. So the next day I want to do something. So I blacked out the bowties, front and rear. Hmm that went rather well. Let me do some research and I will dip my wheels. This was decided Friday night at 1130pm. So lets do it. Very pleased with the results. I also did a fuse pull on the NPP Exhaust and enjoy it. I have window tint going on July 10th 20%. But there was just something else... I got into contact with a good friend (the vette owner) and talked to him about more aggressive and hp gaining mods. He turned me to RPM Motorsports NC in Garner, NC. So after talking to Ryan we decided to do the following. RPM Motorsports Cam Package (valve springs and pushrods) Kooks 1 7/8" Headers Kooks Catted Connection Pipe MSD LS1 Wire Set MGK TR55 V-Power Spark Plugs Full Street and Dyno Tune Roto Fab CAI Oil Catch Can To say the least I am excited for these mods to be installed July 14-16. I will be at the Coffee and Cars event July 19th in Greensboro, NC in the parking lot behind the Fresh Market. I will continue to update everyone on the progress on the Camaro and add pics and comments on how it went. I will also be getting a full dyno before any mods are done to track my progress of the mods and what I have gotten out of them. Added Stock Exhaust Clips for reference. 7/16/2014 Performance Mods went in this week. Picked up today. They saved the last dyno pull for me. And pulled a 475rwhp and 440rwtq RPM Motorsports Cam Package (valve springs and pushrods) Kooks 1 7/8" Headers Kooks Catted Connection Pipe MSD LS1 Wire Set MGK TR55 V-Power Spark Plugs Full Street and Dyno Tune Roto Fab CAI Oil Catch Can 7/17/2014 Got my tint done today. Also put fenders hashes on last night. Got a sound clip of the setup. Installed a Valentine V1 with BlendMount and Cable. On 2014 I had to find 12v Power. I used the passenger airbag light.

Yes it is a pain but in the end, don't we all wash our cars once a week. Now if I am going somewhere before the weekend wash, I will wash her. But its the same maintenance plan.
