It really doesn’t look that bad to me but I’m not a Mustang fan anyway. The interior seems to be right for the car in keeping the weight down sort of like the LT1 Camaros.

Idk, the looks are OK to me...don't love it, don't hate it. Most of the Mustangs just give to much of the ecoboost taste; they all look far too similar.

I think it is a great looking car. Enjoy and appreciate every “muscle car” sold today, the days ahead look pretty murky to me as far as high HP gasoline powered pony cars. The diversity in looks, style and engines right now is a good thing.

Its a nice looking car, but there is really no way I would normally ever consider buying one. Most likely would buy a dodge if the camaro wasnt available. Definitely would not pay over sticker for anything ever.

I saw a Mach 1 on the showroom floor when I was buying my son his Mustang last month. It looked good, but the price....you would think the thing was made out of gold.

Huge fan of the previous Mach 1 here. This car however, while it looks nice (especially the wheels) does not do it for me. The last Mach 1 Ford made (03/04) was a special car. This one is not. It’s just a pp2 GT with a diff cooler, better trans, bigger tires and an intake manifold. The last Mach 1 they made came with a completely better engine than what was offered in the GT. This one has the same exact motor as a Gt but with a different manifold which to me isn’t a big difference. If I was in charge of building the new Mach 1 it would have had a 5.2 cross plane block with either ported heads or gt350 heads. That would have made it a badass NA car with a normal cross plane crank.

Nice looking car. I'm sure it has great performance.
But I've read enough about the car to know that if performance for your dollar is of any importance, it doesn't hold a candle to the SS1LE. For many thousands less, the SS1LE is as good (or likely better, this being the "base" version), and I personally think the 1LE is just as good looking. Nice car Ford, but they've never been able to match the performance value of the 1LE.

Per car n driver: Opting for the Handling Package adds $3500 the Mach 1's $53,915 base price, or $11,840 more than the cheapest way to spec last year's PP2 . Not exactly inexpensive, but it may strike just the right choice for those who missed out on the Bullitt and GT350 and are looking for a car that will let them hone their track skills without building a new wing onto the garage or taking out a second mortgage.

Thanks for the pics!
But the price! There are so many other cars I'd rather have for the money. If ADM brings it to $65k you're in ZL1 and C8 territory.

IMO it is the best S550 Mustang Ford has offered yet, but the price makes it a non starter.
Mustang Fanbois have really played in to Ford's hands by paying these stupid prices.

The Mach 1 has apparently inherited the cooling and the transmission from the GT350, just paired with the Coyote motor. The optional Handling Package gets you GT350-size wheels and tires. Norm
