Sadly living at 7200 feet in Wyoming I've seen snow all months of the year . During the winter i would like to drive it when the roads are dry otherwise the Canyon will handle the dirty work. So i would like to see some winter tires made for the Camaro, just in case for those sneaky winter storms.

I currently have 2 Camaros, one of which has to go out in the snow/ice on occasion. It is not pretty, and that's my V6!
I think with the near 50/50 weight distribution and a set of good winter tires it will be fine.

Add some weight in the trunk and take it easy

I actually prefer a manual in the snow. I had a 2000 Z28 6-speed and had no issues in NC when it snowed......

You just can't drive like an idiot or try and floor it.......

If you know how to drive in the snow with a rear wheeled car it's not too bad but I wouldn't recommend it unless it's necessary......I just couldn't stand to see my car covered in salt and snow all the time.....it would drive me nuts!!

*I have not drove the new camaro in the snow. I'm going off of my experience with a fourth gen Z/28.

If there is snow on the roads I will not be driving the car. Dry roads I will drive the Camaro in the winter.

I am waiting for the convertible.

May 1st to Nov.

I have a Jeep for the winter, dirt roads, camping.

My plan is that when I give it to my kids 25 years from now, it does not look much different than the day I got it.

Mine is going to be a fair weather car soooo I will never see snow or rain hopefully. I own a 40th Anniversary Corvette and it never seen either as well. Its just too nice of a car to be sliding I mean really sliding thru the snow.

Only drive a camaro in the snow if you're into bobsleds and you like getting stuck.....cuz you will get stuck.

Number 3 with the all season tires was the best RWD car I've driven in the winter.

GM installed ice and snow on all cars with summer tires. With those tires Mrs. Number 3s SS did almost as well.

Lots of previous posts on this good question.

Perelli Snows and it Goes!

My 2000 SS equiped with top of the line Perelli Performance Snows handled like a dream !! No way will it handle like a FWD but it did as well as most big V8s I ever owned. In part the traction control made a difference and being able to pull away in 2nd gear was awesome. I also put 50 lbs over the wheels. So get the high end snow tires, drive cautiously, and don't worry ! That's what I will be doing with my 2SS .......which was deliverd to the dealer today BTW !!

Sounds like my plan. So eventually they'll be making snow tires to fit the 20" wheels? or do they already make them?
