3.5 is likely an error like late wheel spin causing it to appear that 60 was reached sooner.

There's nothing that tells me it's in a "launch mode". The way I launch the car is by putting it in track mode, tapping the traction button twice, (this tells you you're in comp driving mode on the speedometer screen) push the brake pedal as hard as you can, and quickly go WOT, then release brake. pressing the brake firmly is the key bc if you don't, the car will kinda rock back and forth, but put it all the way down and you'll flash it up smoothly and be able to launch from around 2200 rpm.

Got my new best last night, but still had some wheelspin and a 5500 rpm 1-2 shift (left car in drive). Idc if it's not 100% accurate, but this toy certainly is fun to play with lol

Is it in track mode and did you click the traction button twice to tell you it's in comp driving mode? You also have to quickly press the throttle to WOT

Yes it was in track and competitive mode. But i did not quickly floor the pedal ... did it somewhat slowly.

Hey guy new to the site.

This is my best so far. Everything stock 32psi in rear. 70 degree temps. 330ft above sea level. With the 8speed auto less than 400 miles

Y'all follow me on YouTube and I'll keep the changes updated.

hi,
the 2016 Camaro is still not available in europe while Mustangs sells very well and buyers (70%V8) have to wait min. 6 months.

Now i saw this new side on chevy hp with introducing the new Eu model where they give a 0-100km/h (0-62mph) time with 4.4sec under 453PS (hp).
hm, i thought i should be better.

M6 no launch control RPM @ 1500 easy off the clutch...as soon as it hooks up, steady pressure on the throttle ....take first gear to 6000 no lift shift to second, super fast on the clutch....on a 68 degree day full tank of gas I hit a 4.1

Same launch on a cold morning 42 degrees half tank of gas got a 3.9. Have not been able to better that yet. As others mention a little bog off the line produces better times then spinning the tires.

USA spec is 4.3 for the M6 and 4.0 for the auto 0-60, which has shown to be conservative. the m6 can do 4.0 via instrument test, clearly a prepped car and an owner driver can do even better.

I just blasted off 3 or 4 4.0 o to sixty with light bog. I find a light bog far more consistent that blowing the tires away and then having to back-off. So for the average street fight a light bog is going to lead to me dealing a smake down. The only cars I have to get that last .1 or .2 are the A8 and A9s... my only fear. They should have a warning sign on them if you ask me. "warning this Camaro is an A8, able to deal a stop light smack down on a whim with near perfect launch at anytime, approach with extreme caution."

Yes, once on PERFECT asphalt in Southlake Texas, BUT I also have 2019 Shock 1SS/1LE M6 with factory CAI. My best 1/4 earlier in the week was a 12.3 on dirty Texas rds but also ending up slightly uphill turning ever so slightly left. However, that 12.3 had a 4.6 sec 0-60 time, so in theory, assuming 58-63 degrees, on clean asphalt, it could do an 11.9. However, my 2019 Shock 2SS A10 did a 12.2 1/4 mile on same spot, BUT it also had best ever 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. Anybody that wishes to challenge my next statement should seriously check out my three YouTube Channels, I have the racing discipline and background, as well as being a math and physics prodigy. ANYONE getting high 3s to 4.0 in manual, has either got smaller diameter tires (e.g. 19s) making it actually 0-57.8 mph OR they're spinning last 5-10 mph, giving a REAL 0-60 time, BUT their car isn't going the same 60 mph their rubber is. I can assure you, I used up my OEM 305/30/20 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3's up in under 3,200 miles here in Texas. And that guy in desert with 96 degrees and cold road, I'm sorry but at that temp, his engine has lost a good 50 rwhp. However, that cold temp road is also probably spinning his tires up too. Ideal road to air ratio happens at 58-63 degrees Fahrenheit. Any colder, engine GAINS power, tires lose stiction. Any warmer, engine loses power, tires GAIN stiction, and increases frictional forces overall. At Ennis, in 104 degrees, on a prepared track, in roll racing I did 10.3 sec 1/4 mile at 113 mph, in dig racing I did 13.1 sec 1/4 mile at same 113 mph. 0-60 was 5.1 sec with 60 ft time of 1.833, and onboard was matching in time. I did several 0-60 runs on roads, on way home, and 5.1-5.3 seconds were all I could muster, and 13.0-13.5 1/4 mile times. Physics will ALWAYS prevail, and my rwhp with Factory CAI is 413 at 61 degrees. Which means best 1/4 could be 11.9 seconds, but my 0-60 will be 4.2 seconds unless I spin up towards the end. Nobody is going to beat Randy Probst on 0-60 times, period. UNLESS you got great asphalt in Death Valley, on perfect temp day?! Then it's possible to get better then 4.2 seconds with M6
