I believe the part number for these is 23403963 but don't hold me to that. Pricey little things. |

This info was gleaned from a previous thread:
***Pro-Tip*** "Shove thin popsicle like sticks into every tab of the grill and it just pulls right off in about two yanks. Wish I had done this with every other piece." Last edited by Firecaptain; 11-27-2019 at 04:52 PM. |

Think it makes any difference as to which way these gizmos for the splitter end caps go into the splitter?
Thanks |

It does. The top picture, with the tabs left to right should be the right way. You'll know when you try to push them in. The wrong way feels like your forcing it in. The right way just pops in easily. Also, i may be wrong, but in your pics it looks like your coming in from the backside of the splitter. They install from the outside, the side exposed when the splitter is mounted on the car. The rubber pad faces out. I put my first one in incorrectly and pushed it through and back into splitter. |

I am going to wait on ordering my upper grill, because I want to see what it looks like with the ZLE parts installed. That grill is so small and somewhat hidden, I don't think it will be really noticeable. Might even post a pic with it in and let the forum members tell me what they think!

Got a quick one for you Addicted,
The center stone deflector/air dam, that I removed from the car, taking the bumper off, part #84114187. Is that the same one listed for the ZLE splitter, #84244390. They sure do look the same. As always, thanks, Tony |

That was my thinking. I took a couple of quick pics. The lighting was terrible but it might give you a feel for how it will look. |

Can't give you a definitive answer on that one except to tell you that the one off my original ZL1 splitter mounted up no problem. I figure if I chew that one up I'll give the other one a go. Something interesting though is the difference in price between the two. 84244390 is twice the price of 84114187. The picture shown looks like 84244390 is better reinforced and stronger. Call that an educated guess. LOL |

Well that kinda seals it for me! I don't see any reason to change it at this point.
Did you go with the big wing on the back? |

No. I'm having a hard time getting my head around the $4000+ cost. Still weighing my options - painting the stock one, looking at an aftermarket version, finding a used one or from a totaled car. Hoping maybe one just shows up on my doorstep or a winning lottery ticket. LOL I would like to end up with the factory one but that price. Ouch!! |
