Ok brother Lon preaches the truth. Morgan territory rd is very narrow. So narrow that 6 miles of it are one lane. It gets kinda hairy going around blind corners and cresting hills. It is also a little rough. It was ok in my car with stock suspesion but anything stiffer would not be so fun. Marsh creek rd was nice, typical two lane back rd. Took me 75 min.
I will need to reroute. updates to come. Back to the drawing board

If anyone feels like doing a longer drive after lunch. I will be heading out Vasco Rd. to Marsh Creek Rd. on the way home.

Mind if I do some research to see if there are any alternates or are you comfortable with the route.

Thinking out loud...
What about... Crow Canyon to Palomares to 84 and Foothill up into Pleasanton. From there we have a number of options depending on how many people are with us. The fact it is Sunday football will be a benefit as the sports bars will be packed and most other restaurants should be more open. There are also a number of parking options, again, based on the number of cars. If we have a large group committed between the Camaros and Corvettes we may want to consider talking to a restaurant ahead of time to see about reserved tables and parking. |

looks good to me. Not sure about the food options in Pleasanton, but I'm sure we can work that out.
I call it good. Quote:

Ok so who is in for the cruise and the food? I will need a decent count to see if I need to make reservations.

In for all.
If we end up with good numbers we will probably be better off finishing at Hacienda Crossings (580/Hacienda). Wide open parking lots and good selection for food. Johnny Garlics may be a good option. |
