I just noticed these clear paint protectors on each end of the rocker panels on our car. Are these factory or did the dealer add them? You can barely see it in the first pic, but I added it for perspective.

Cool. The first time I saw them, all is saw was the light refracting along that curved edge. I ran my nail along it and thought the rocker panel was cracked!

I had my car up on a lift for the first time and that is when I noticed it also. Thought it was a crack too.

My car absolutely does NOT have these protectors :( I think we need a poll.

It's not factory. Did you read your purchase order? maybe they slipped in the goods on ya.

If they added it, it was free. I had to send them back once because they had the wrong price.

You guys just made me walk out and look...I do have them. Did not order and did not pay. I double checked the purchase order and they are not listed with any cost associated. Factory I am guessing.

hmmmm I must check mine tomorrow because I was thinking of putting some protective film on those lower area's.

Cool! Got them....never realized this until now. Ran my hand down below and felt it. I have washed the car almost every weekend we have had it and I never knew they were there.
