Well, that's really close but since I don't build my own engines so I be the wrong one to ask but it seems feasible. My block was not align honed when we did the ARP studs, I know it was checked but not honed. Where do you live in Missouri? I live north of Columbia.

Mine wasn't line honed. My machinist, the most anal guy ever born, was surprised.
He miced the mains ten ways from Sunday. It just didn't need it. My guy said nearly all LS motors need line honing. Not sure if I just got lucky, or if there's something about the LT block that makes it more stable.

These are Y blocks and the studs are centered via the block buttress, most guys put the crank in and if it spings freely you are golden. Texas Speed says you MUST line hone. I did NOT remove my crank during my piston / rod rebuild.
