Alcantara/Suede protection

I just picked up my ZL1 1LE yesterday and was wondering what is everyone using to protect the Alcantara or suede interior? I was thinking the Chemical Guys alcantara/suede protector. Anyone have any experience in this area. Thanks in Advance

I use a good suede brush and sonax alcantara cleaner. Just brush it regularly before it gets too matted down. and if it gets soiled use the cleaner. But the brush keeps it looking good

Oils/dirt from hands tend to stick to everything no matter how you try to protect it (short of using gloves 100% of the time).

It's going to get dirty... but Sonax will clean it just fine. Before and after w/ https://www.autogeek.net/sonax-alcantara-cleaner1.html:

I'm new to cleaning alcantara, but just got the sonax and a good brush. My wheel is matted down on the wear parts. is there a trick to cleaning it over everything else?

Nope, just follow the directions on the bottle, which are IIRC:
1. Apply.
2. Let soak in a minute.
3. Rub off.

Bring a few cheapo low pile microfiber towels with you... you might be surprised how much grime comes off.

Sonnax/small brush to clean and Dr. Beasley's to protect.
