Check into it. I found out I was eligible for the GM Family Legacy Program. My Step Grandfather worked for GM, when he died his benefit was passed to my grandmother who when she passed about 8 years ago my family and I assumed that was it. I found a link posted here back in the summer. Back in October I did everything and now I am set.

Just an FYI when someone does purchase a vehicle with the supplier discount they are eligible to share the 2nd purchase with friend or family member. I will have an extra code to share once my vehicle arrives that I would be willing to share with an 10/12'er once I am able to share it.

How do the dealers feel about honoring gm employee discount. Does it effect there profit? my father retired from GM and gets a discount,

Models that have an Asterisk (*) next to it are excluded for the 2016 year. So on the Last update 10/29 it had the Camaro and Cruze. Now you just see the Cruze with the asterisk

they get refunded the money I believe. If they don't accept it, I wouldn't even ask no more questions and walk out as plenty dealers are looking for a sale to steal from another dealer.

That is correct they get refunded the price difference. They can actually make more selling it to you at employee or supplier then giving you a discount off of MSRP.
