Something seems wrong. What happened to your 60' on that pass as a previous slip you were cutting 1.54 60' times.
He is in Texas so it could still be pretty hot down there. Aside from that comparing different tracks is like comparing different dynos without all the data...such as DA, humidity, water grains...etc.

Yes I’m running Toyo888’s. I’m at 824 RWHP right now. One thing I think that keeps messing me up is that I can’t seem to roll out of my line lock so I might still have some water on my tires. I feel it spinning a little at take off and through some of the gears.

King is right but if your spinning your not putting down all the HP you are making. Even in the heat and da you should be running 1/2 second faster then that if it hooks. I'm not gigging you at all as I used to work for Magnuson s I still want you to run as fast as possible. Get some drag radials and that 1.79 60ft will get you back to that 1.54 60ft you had before. Go get um

Car/Engine: 2018 2SS A8
Top Thirty Class: Bolt-Ons *without* Internal Engine Modifications
Tires used on the pass: Nitto 555G2 Summer Tires
Performance Mods (if any): CAI, LT'S, Vellosa ram air, LT2 ported intake, Mamo ported 87mm TB, MBRP axle back with cats. E85 sensor, GPI tune.

R/T: .750
60': 1.9555
330': 5.162
660': 7.744
660' 96.07
Temp was cooler than normal that day. Low 80's
Couldn't get any traction. Track was fair but the Nitto G2 did nothing no matter how I tried. I rolled into the throttle multiple ways. When ever I full throttled her she would lose it. Low end is a MONSTER.
Ended up just leaving all the nannies on and rolled into the throttle that way with the TC light flashing the whole time and the CPU pulling power. Felt like a slug but got the best time I could muster on the day.
Will get some drag radials for next year and get some better numbers. Should be 7.30 or better.

Not bad considering the 60’ my car went 7.75 @90 bone stock on the run flats
Now I have a very similar set up to you just instead of longtubes I have cat deletes, looks like if you were to cut a 1.70 60’ that would get you into the 7.3s. Do you have a trans tune?

Yes sir I had GPI tune it as well.
I ran 8.07 on run flats and a CAI box.
I could always hook fairly well before but now the low end is unreal. Heck a 40mph roll is a adventure. When you throtte that boy it gets all over the road.
I can't tell much about the trans tune (don't think you can) but I have heard it's worth a few tenths in the 1/4 with it.
Yes I'm shooting for 7:30-40 with a drag radial.
It will be next year before I can get that time but that is my goal.

I just can’t seem to get better than a 1.7 60’. I know I had one slip showing a 1.5 but I think that was a fluke bc I staged beyond the line but they went ahead and let me make my pass. I’m running 22 in my rear DR Toyo’s. Should I drop it lower to 18 maybe?

The problem with going lower on a hard sidewall R compound tire is that it might hook better right off the line and then break loose as you get out a bit. I forget the term off the top of my head for it...Anyway, MT Street R like lower pressure. That is what you need for best 60ft's at the track on a "streetable" tire.
