Just give it a little nudge and it will fall into place.

Only thing I did after installing the cover was cut a small square portion of the underside of the hood out where it would rest against the front top of the cover. Other than that, everything was fine. I have been looking to get the Katech valve covers and coil relocation kit.

Would you be able to post a picture of what you mean? Really wanna go this route but I also don't want to cut a huge portion of my hood.

Aww, it looks pretty bare... you're planning to paint the raw metal and install some giant grommet or rubber seal around the hole, right?

Lol no. The insulation was put back over it so you don't even notice. Plus I have an AC ZL1 hood on order so I'm not too concerned with the stock hood.

Was looking at doing this but not if I have to cut the hood :/ Maybe my 2020 hood with the center vents would fit better? any one try this with '19+? Also, found this for those of you that don't want "Corvette" on your motor lol

How much clearance did you need on the 2020?

Any chance denting it in a bit would work?

No other modifications for the cover. Just give it a nudge towards the back and it will fall into place under the cowl. No coil relocation kit. Thank you.

I am sure you could but for me it was just too close. I could close the hood without any modifications but it felt like it was pressing against the intake so thats why I cut it. Now I have the AC ZL1 hood with no issues.

This is a 2020 hood.
