Powder-coat wheels in DFW area

Few weeks ago, I had my wheels powder-coated and wanted to give credit to ARS Wheels in Carrollton, TX. They did a great job, less than 24h turnaround, and stunning results. Highly recommended.

See for yourself.

I paid $135 per wheel for low-gloss satin black. Then bought new center caps and Gorilla lug nuts (96643BDX).

I'm assuming that didn't include tear down of wheels/tires?

DFW powder coating charges $300 for a set of wheels, they are in Justin.

Thanks for the recommendation. Took mine to ARS. They look awesome. Got gloss black. Dropped the car off at 5:15pm and got a call that it was ready at 9:30am the next day. I'm glad they accept the whole car and break down the wheels and remount them. I'll post pics later.

Sorry, for a late reply. I paid $540 total, including wheel reassembly and balancing.

I bought center caps and lug nuts before powder coating. They did offer to paint caps to match tho.

Yea, they're GM wheel center caps. Bought them at Phastek: http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...ter-caps-h.htm

Yes, tined version. Easy install and no problems so far. However, I'll be switching to smoked Diode Dynamics once they're out.

Most center caps have a plastic base. You can't powder coat plastic, because of the heat of the oven.
