I was thinking about the s-type too. I have Legatos which are flowmaster knock-offs... I have a nice tone, not too loud but, I do get a lot of popping... but absolutely no drone at all... I have ARH LTH/HFC x-pipe.


I was told the s-type would give me a deeper tone which is why I'm interested in these, but if they drone, I wouldn't be.

Yes I had the Afm tuned out. Honestly not really sure why the s type drones more. I was surprised when i went from s type to atak. Drone wasnt horrible either it just got annoying from 65-75 mph at highway speeds.

California here so no lth but i did do the ATAK and have a Range device to tune out the AFM - sounds savage.

I have Kooks long tube like many others here with the flow thru cats and the Borla atak... I have zero complaints and I believe it sounds fantastic. I replaced the Ataks after doing headers and hi-flow cats as it was way to raspy. They sounded great at idle, cool to about 4500 rpm then after that it was like it started to sound ricer bad.
