When I originally went to order mine, my dealer suggested a couple things be removed from my build due to that somehow they knew part shortage was coming and told me it would take too long. Those things were minor anyway and can be cheaper aftermarket anyway. Here I still wait almost 6 months later and it’s almost here.

How long has it been Bayed and when was your car built? What is the VIN? I can at least confirm the built date.

I will be at 10 weeks bayed this Wednesday. Be patient.

I actually found two dealers, one in CO and one in OK, that were willing to sell in stock units w/o "market adjustments". Nice people at both places. But remember, I am in the 1LT, 4cyl, 6sp, low option car market. I can't speak to other Camaro option segment issues.

I have been patient. I am talking about a car with no, zip, nada electronic options, unlike yours. Cars just like it, built in the same window(end of Jan thru 1st wk of Mar), going to the same geographic area of the country are spending two weeks on average bayed. The car I just gave up is at eight weeks. Maybe the car will show up eventually, but as long eventually actually means indefinitely I chose something tangible.

Depending on what the shipping ends up costing I might even save a few bucks. The Phoenix dealer added on $2200 worth of mandatory "stuff" the CO dealer didn't.

Fellow Texans and folks from the DFW area, how long were y'all stuck at 4B00 "Bayed" status? Just curious. I've been stuck on 4B00 status going on almost 8 weeks now on the 28th I think. How long did it take for y'alls cars to be delivered once it was built?

As you can see below, my car was built within the TPW, 1/24/22. It was delivered to my dealer 4/5, I picked it up 4/6. I edited my previous post, it was actually 11 weeks to the day from when it was built.

Here's my timeline:
1100/2000-12/17/21
This was my second order. First order had PDR, that was submitted 10/29/21. It soon went on constraint and I waited till mid December then reordered w/o PDR. It was immediately picked up by GM.
3000 1/10/22
TPW 1/24
3400 1/20/22 Order Broadcast- Basically GM says they are getting things lined up for assembly
3800 1/26/22 Was built on 1/26/22
4B00 2/4/22 Bayed
6000 4/6/22 Picked up the car from the dealer

As an update, it ended up costing me $1500 to ship the car in an enclosed trailer from Longmont, CO to Marana, AZ. Really good thing I got the enclosed trailer as he ran into a bad dust storm in southern NM. The car got pretty dusty even in the trailer.

The original car I was waiting on is still in Bayed status, 78 days and counting.

Don’t wanna sound like a Debbie downer for you all but I’ve been bayed 13 weeks. According to my sales rep it doesn’t even matter what they have on palsapp, he just got a truck in 3 days ago, the order was placed late January, and the customer is driving around in it today with it still showing it in a Canadian holding lot.

Mine has been 4B00 status since 4/19. I’m hoping I can get the car before the end of May, but I’m rapidly losing faith that that will happen. It’s all pretty frustrating.
